Makeup apps are ubiquitous in the market. However, there is a gap in the market that solely focuses on your skin. Our team wanted to create and experience for the user that is thoroughly customizable to their skincare needs. In comes Glow*. Glow*, a skincare journal with a tailored self care experience to compliment your lifestyle and well-being. By inputting their specific products, our users can receive a skincare routine tailored to them. They’ll be able to compare their current skin health with that of another chosen day.

The minimal colour palette reflects the brand's ethos. Calming, neutral colours puts emphasis on the self-care element that is core to the product. It isn't an overtly feminine aesthetic, as skincare is gender neutral. The font, stylised * , and bright orange purposely contrasts the palette. It brings a fun and refreshing element to the overall simple design.

UI/UX
The UI/UX of Glow* follows the brand's core that skincare is self-care. By having a minimal UI design, users are able to focus on one action at a time. The users attention isn't fractured. Yet, it is still a multipurpose product with multiple main features:
1. Morning/Night Routine: Especially aimed at first time skincare consumers, the app takes you step by step through your tailored morning/night routines. Users can choose from three routine styles: Quick, Basic and Extra (for when you want to indulge yourself).
2. Show Face/Hide Face: Using AR, users can compare previous photos of themselves to see the progress their skin has made.
3. Scan products: Ever wondered if the product you are about to buy is good for you? The app helps you make that decision by giving you a well-being rating and a breakdown of product ingredients.
